boo, spoilsport :c

[ Home, he thinks, distant and unbidden. Even though it isn't quite that and he hasn't even stayed over the same way Rin and Aventurine have. It's just that it embodies what he imagines a good home to be: a place that feels safe where he's looked after and just accepted as he is. His own home situation hadn't been very good between parents who didn't (couldn't ever) understand what he was going through and Rika's increasing jealous violence towards his little sister that had ultimately led to him having to distance himself from his family altogether.

It's not even like Jujutsu High where he'd only been reluctantly accepted because of Gojo's insistence and stuck in the most distant, remote dormitory on those vast school grounds for fear of what Rika could do. When the Elders considered him a threat and he had to hide parts of his abilities because they couldn't be trusted, that hadn't felt like home either. Home had been people there: his friends and the man who saved his life and changed it forevermore. They're who he longed for and felt homesick about when he was abroad in Africa. (Who he longs for, again.)

But the Forge is different. Muramasa never turns him away, allows not only him but also Rika into that space without judgement, even gave him a key so he can come and go as he pleases. There is implicit trust in that and that's precious enough on its own to him, but there's also the place itself. Small, cozy, homely despite the fact that the 'home' aspects of the archaic structure are an afterthought to its purpose as a smithy. He finds himself longing for the veranda right now, to sit there in the sun or to lie down on the wood and feel the breeze. A much safer space where he could just ride out the disassociative spell that threatens to pull him from his body instead of having to feverishly cling to things like the too spicy ginger candy in his mouth and a former enemy's presence to keep him grounded. ]

Mm. He's around.

[ The last time he caught a glimpse of the familiar white haori eludes his foggy mind, but it can't have been that long ago. Either way, he trusts that he'll fall into Muramasa's orbit again sooner or later. Moving in a group as big as all of LILITH's so-called Angels is unwieldy and chaotic, but Yuta always takes care to keep an eye out for specific faces. ]

He's probably with Tohsaka-san.

[ Throwing that name out there like he might expect Geto to know her. Which he doesn't — not really — well-aware as he is of Geto's more anti-social inclinations. ]
